Not in vacation but learning CSS layouts.

I know I didn't post anything in the lastest days but I have taken part in some very demanding projects. I started using CSS for laying out websites for some time ago and I think I have learnt a lot. There are still some hacks I can't manage to get them work in all browsers but it's a start.

Here there are some of the websites I have been developing lately (all are in spanish but some have english version).

Roquetas Digital, website for the Town Hall of the city I live at.
Torreluz, website of a hotel in Almeria.
Activos Inmobiliarios, a Real Estate website.
100horas, website about a sport event in my city.
Gestinal, a Real estate website.

Let me know if you liked them or what you would change in order of better usability or design.

Google and Picasa are in the same ship

I know you will be wondering what's Picasa. Well, Picasa it's a company that developed a powerful and easy-to-use software product to mage your photos. Here it is what you get:
Everything you need to enjoy your digital photos in a single software product:
- Auto-transfer photos from your digital camera.
- Organize and find pictures in seconds.
- Edit, print, and share photos with ease.
- Create slideshows, order prints and more!

Picasa works with the digital photo files on your PC to create a better, more organized viewing and editing experience. Picasa will not delete or move the location of pictures saved on your PC. I give it a try and it absolutly awesome! I love the effects of the interface and without touching anything it ordered in albums by date and with the names of the folders... in just 5 seconds. It even integrates with Hello so you can send your photos to your blog (in case you are a blogger) in two clicks.

And you know what is the best part IT'D FREE. Yeah. as Google gets more companies more free servicies are available. Mr. Bill Gates should learnt from his neighbours.

MyIE2 browser is now Maxthon

It seems that my browser of choice it's developing a new major release. Now it's in beta but official release will be soon. I will keep you up to date with last info.
Quote:
After being actively developed for more than one year and with the version 1.0 coming to its release, MyIE2 was renamed to Maxthon.

The change was made because we felt a better name was needed to promote such a powerful browser and avoid possible confusions. Same as MyIE2, Maxthon is still free to use, has all previous features you've got used to and more new ones to enjoy.

Problem with browser-cache and XML files

I'm here with another question to the community. As you probably remmember from a previous post, I'm developing a notebook. I had some problems with the Unicode codification but it's solved. Now I have problems with the cache.

If you head to http://www.roquetasdigital.es/agenda (it's in spanish but you will understand it anyway) you can manage to know what's the problem.

Every month, I load a XML file generated by a PHP one. So when the user chooses another month or year it loads a new XML. The problem is that if you come back to a previous loaded month it doesn't get again the data from the server but from the cache. In AS, I delete the XML object everytime I load a new XML.
Is there a solution to these?
